Hi Doc,

We have about 12 spearers competing in Kristiansund. We live in a cabin in the camping site.

See you in Norway

Hi, Ville!
My friend cames back yesterday from Sandsoy - water is very warm +16+17 degree C. Fish, shells, lobsters (and of course, crabs) and visibility - O'K.
See you in Alanten Camping!
P.S. Latvian guys made new Norwegian record of conger - 19,6 kg.

Hello,
I' ve just registered as a menber.
I am from Portugal, but I work with companies from Norway, Finland and Sweden. I have been in Goteborg and Stocholm twice and I might be going to Norway soon. I think the place is OYO.
I would like some tips.
how are the water temperatures trough the year?
what kind of equipment is needed? 7mm is enough? speargun lenghts?

if anyone comes to Portugal, say something. Carefull with temperatures. We are getting 40º in the shadow these days.Usually my norwegian customer don't support this very well.

Hello, ajacc!
News from Norway (Kristiansund) - water temperature on surface +15+16, of course than deeper, the lower. In winter i never was in Norway, but heared that water is about +6+8 (Golfstreem).
Visibility approximatelly 12-15 meters (depends). Enough fish, but better to look it on currency. For me 5 mm wetsuit is enough. (on summer)
For you (as also spanish guys used) 7 mm jacket, 5 mm throusers.
Gun (arbaleth) lenght approx. 100 cm will be optimal.
Bouy is necessary.
