It was 0200 at Elfsjö, Korppoo and time for the first night dive. We had enjoyed a couple of absinth shots and had fruitful discussions about how we as individuals could help Finland stay as a mental leaders in the world society. The whole gang felt relaxed, mentally strong and slitely under influence of liquer. It was about the time to attack Elfsjö "trout bay".
As our fisherman friends from Tampere (Finlands industrial capital) had told us we knew that there was plenty of fish in the bay. No one talked when we dressed up and 5 minutes later four guys disappeared into the black bay.
I swam towards the beach where trouts were seen few days before. Suddenly I saw a figure in a shallow water having a late lunch. Few seconds and Säynävä was mine. Like usually I didn't get an adredaline rush. I Just felt pure confidence of my physical and mental strenght.
I continued toward the rocks near the entrance of the bay. I trusted my instincts but this time I had to return empty hands. It didn't worry me because I had allready forgotten the outside world and was floting somewhere else in the universe. I returned back, sang Britney Spears and enjoyd my slitly drunken wild life experience.
Just after the second chorus a white fish swam towards me. I had just a second to react but that's what predators are paid for. A clean shot in the neck and voila. A 1.3 kg white fish was finnished and I had a perfect end to my night dive.
Finally I'd like to thank Ms. Britney Spears and her amazing ability to dress my "25 something" emotions into energetic pop song.
